The idea that knees in that sort of position are illegal in the first place is ridiculous. People take advantage of just putting their knee down or hand down to keep the other person from using an attack that would be legal if they were a LITTLE off the ground. How the fuck is it any different?

Knees to the head should be legal. A lot of beatdowns would end much faster. Taking prolonged damage is proven to be worse for your brain than just getting KO'd quickly. The moment someone started landing knees to the ground, a ref likely would just end the fight anyway.

They're gonna get brain damage no matter what. You're just stretching the damage out by letting them punch and elbow exclusively.
