From your one message I can feel that she is more masculine than you are. For example, you're holding back from saying the L word even though you probably feel it(no clue if she does but she sounds more stoic than you). Now your traumatized over hitting a deer which was (I hope) an accident. She likely also understands it was an accident but you feel she should be as troubled as you are(because you wish she was more feminine than you).

I'd cut her loose only because of this reason. She's going to end up hurting you unintentionally just because she is indeed more masculine. You need someone even softer than you are
