[Major Story Spoilers] About the Red Hood

It must have been before Asylum. Joker would have been to ill and beaten-up to do anything to him after Asylum, either that or Jason was still there and eventually escaped. And in flashbacks Joker appears healthy and in the 'death tape'. Tim was Robin in Batgirl DLC which is set just before Asylum. My guess Joker takes Jason about 1 year to 8 months before Asylum. Though Jason says a year he could have just felt it was that long, and that would mean that, if the flashbacks are true, Tim was Robin about 6 months before Asylum, if not longer, because Joker says, 'it's been six months now Jason', and in the same scene he shows Jason a picture of Bats and Tim. At the most I think Tim could have been Robin for 9 months at the most, but my best guess is that Bats goes into Asylum just off the back of Jason supposed death. As I think in between the time of whenever he got free and Knight I assume he trained back to physical peak, and had the Red Hood mantle to take up after he had supposedly beaten Bats, and only used the Arkham Knight persona to unnerve him and seem capable of running an army and look militaristic. I think the Ref Hood alter ego is what he originally lined up, but seeing Batman a lot more skilled and what have you he decided to up the ante, and when that was finished, he would continue with his original plan. I think though Jason was just gonna do something similar to the Under the Red Hood and draw him out, but even for him he saw it as too risky, and needed back-up to take him down, hence the militia. You hear a lot of thugs saying 'after this we can retire' and stuff like that, kinda stating it could just be a one-night operation they've been building up to, presumably to take Bats down rather than Gotham. And Jason goes after Black Mask in the DLC cause he's decided to become a vigilante rather than the cold-blooded killer Joker turned him into, and goes after him to stop him rather than a grudge, like in Under the Red Hood, he has nothing against him he's just trying to take him down. Batman talks some sense into him, and they're on the same side now, just Jason uses much more lethal methods to achieve his goals, hence Black Mask's predicament at the end of the DLC. Also, I think Tim was already well trained in martial arts and detective skills, so all Bats needed to do was toughen him up a bit more and a bit more training, and the same with Grayson and Jason. But they were both in the middle of tragedy kind of thing, so they may have taken more time to bend round into Robin. I believe the time gap between Origins and Asylum is 5 years, and I guess that's just enough time for Bats to have 3 bird-boys, considering he trains them fairly quickly. I imagine though that would mean Grayson would only have been Robin for about 3 years, or Jason only had a very short period as Robin. Either way I think Tim was just starting out as Robin in the Batgirl DLC, maybe a few weeks into field duties. Also, in response to the abandoned wing, there could be various places in Arkham where he could have been tortured, as we only explore the main parts of the Asylum. We don't explore extreme isolation, and I mean, Joker must have been doing something during the events of Asylum other than just nattering away every so often and giving a few orders. There are also other places, as in the flashback sequences it kinda looks like Amadeus Arkham's Cell, a part which doesn't look like it's been used for a while. Also, Arkham City was a while after Asylum, giving Jason a lot of time to adopt the AK persona. All his skills were there; they just needed finding again. One thing I don't get there though, in the comics he appears then , but Bats acts like it's the first time he's met him AK, which confuses me. And maybe the Red Hood was originally a mockery of his greatest failure in his eyes, which is Joker, and considering he may already have lines this up beforehand, he saw no need to change everything just cause he reconciled with Bruce. He knew this was going to be his last night after reconciling with him, so Bruce would care, because he'd be dead, or Batman would be, though in my eyes neither of those things happen.

Also just a thought, wouldn't it be cool if they release an 'Under the Red Hood' skin pack for Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Joker and obviously Red Hood. If Rocksteady are still in love with their batmobile they could even put that rendition of it in there as well. Would be a great pack, would love to play as Jason Todd Robin and that kind of street thug looking Red Hood, looks more Gotham-like than his outfit in the DLC, even though I love it.
