Is MajorGeeks safe?

Not so "LOL" after all, eh?

Oh, it is getting more and more LOL each post.

  1. First, you forgot the subject of our talk. We don't go to Major Geeks asking to download Stuxnet or anything harmful to us. We want to download a benevolent app, like Acrobat Reader. After we download them, we check the digital certificate to ensure it is the same package that Adobe released. And it works.

  2. You and The Register both conveniently failed to mention that the digital certificate contributed to killing the malware. Now, every copy of the malware all over the world becomes useless, regardless of whatever stealth tactic they might be using. A digital certificate is like a remote kill switch.

  3. You quote the infamous The Register! That's a sin onto itself. It's a tabloid with a super-poor reputation. Some of its fake posts are the butts of our jokes today. Both of you like to spread FUD just to look and sound smart.
