Majority of Canadians want referendum on monarchy ties after queen’s death: poll - National

You do realize that the vast majority of Republics also appoint their head of state and do not elect them correct?

Allow me to clarify for you why monarchy (In my opinion is better): the Crown (the institution that gives the monarch it's power), is endowed with power by the people - we let the monarch be monarch. History shows what happens when people remove that consent (the Monarch often dies).

The Crown stands above the law because the crown is the will of the people, so all the institutions (the Police, the military, etc.) that you're meant to respect and obey in a Republic, actually swear allegience to the crown, and therefore the people in a monarchy.

And if we're going to say that his brother somehow has a stain on him: Epstein was friends with Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, both of whom flew to his Island. Not excusing what Andrew did, but again the whole "let me use the P word and win the argument" is equally applicable to both Republicanism and Monarchy.

Apologies, but I hope your eyes have been checked recently in order to read all that.
