The makers of No Man’s Sky need to start talking again

Honestly, I get why everyone is so worked up about the multiplayer thing, but who the fuck cares. Even in Murray's interviews when he talks about multiplayer, he always said it would be something extra to the core gameplay. You were never meant to explore worlds together, but rather bump into each other on your otherwise singleplayer quest.

My problem with the game is the laundry list of other promised features that never made it in. There is no living universe to explore. There is never a sense of discovery since everything is already discovered by sentinels and has stupid outposts. The factions are generic, uninteresting, and do not affect gameplay at all. The fauna and life on the planets look like they were randomly generated in SPORE. Freighters never move. There are no huge space battles. Trade ships do not go down to the planet to gather resources and then dock at freighters to be transported to trade ports. The AI is atrocious. No matter what maneuvers you do, you will always be hit at the same rate. Having to recharge your stuff by bringing up menus mid-combat is stupid. The ships and suits are all the same except for upgrade slots. There are no "science" ships or "war" ships.

Man I could keep going on and on but it annoys me since there is so much potential there. My point though is that there is so much wrong with the game beyond the lack of multiplayer and it annoys me that every time NMS is brought up, all anyone ever talks about is the multiplayer as if it's the only thing wrong with the game.
