That's the gist of it. Just flesh things out. But we didn't get any of that . We hardly know the universe we are set in and then like 11(correct if me if wrong) more universes were introduced with a bunch of fodder characters out of thin air with no buildup . But then people paraded Dragonball Super as one of the best things ever because money was no object on the animation budget. I would've felt better about dragonball if they didn't attempt to make a huge cast and world. Because they ended up limiting all of it in the end. Solo Leveling is an example of a good hype piece. It has a decent story so far but is known for its fights. But the reason I think it is good is because it's not trying to do a bunch of things that don't fit it.
