Can I PM you about my father's stage 4 and how he wanted to go to Alaska but they said more chemo would be good. He spent 6 months in the hospital, AFTER getting phenomena because the chemo again weakened his IM system. All after a fall down the stairs and horsetail syndrome which lights up as cancer on an MRI. His ass was broke basically. And we spent 8 months in the hospital with him instead of putting him in a wheel chair when the doctors kept trying new things his insurance didn't cover. He was 270 pounds going in. Probably should have died of heart failure really. But nope they kept saying this and that to keep him there. The final payment when he died was 1.3 million. Out of pocket we paid over 100 thousand. He never got to Alaska because they kept him there as a lab rat and we got the bill for that and didn't get the goodbye he wanted and was ready for.
