Makeup Monday - July 08

I used to always wear makeup when I was younger, then lost interest/reason for makeup everyday. When I do, I just 'drugstore'.

But I just got some Colourpop eyeshadow a couple of days ago, tried it and went "Wait a minute, this is not that" (I got Sweet Talk, Proceed With Caution, Blue Moon)

I am actually going to have to relearn how to put on eyeshadow now. I've seen many eyelook tutorials/reviews, I thought they were being complicated/precise because it was an instruction, now I understand they HAD to be precise or had start over. This kind of eyeshadow really wants to stay where you put it. I'm impressed and intimidated. This isn't simply colored powder.

My first go with Colourpop I used Nyx eye primer. Next time I won't. I don't want help from something locking my mistakes in place.
