Making honey without bees and milk without cows

“I know you don’t eat human meat, but we created this ethical cruelty free human meat in a lab, enjoy!”

I never understand the want or need to eat animal flesh so much that people go through such lengths to create the same taste and texture. For non vegans I’m assuming?

For me at least, the last thing I want my food to taste like is animal meat. I like black bean burgers because they taste like plants, not because I’m trying to recreate the taste of dead animals. I just find it kind of weird and creepy to me personally.

The above quote was a made up example, but I just think it’s weird to be near someone (animal or human), and be like “oh I know what it looks like but this isn’t meat made by you guys, I just engineered it in a lab to taste and feel just like you guys. No worries!”
