Well hes an entrepreneur and when the early 1990s recession hit, it really hit hard. He was an idiot with his money and once he got accustomed to the luxurious lifestyle he never looked back and stayed there as long as possible, he basically just rode his wealth down until he hit rock bottom and couldnt afford it anymore, thats the problem with being an entrepreneur. So blokes like malcolm just ditched him because he could no longer afford the lifestyle. They used to go skiing with Malcolm and his wife every year like they were pretty decent mates for while. Then once the money ran out all of his mates even his gold digger of a wife left him to languish. Only recently has his rich arrogant aristocratic mates begun talking to him and picking him back on his feet again. But i struggle to feel much sympathy for him since he too has this aristocratic pompous tone and demeanor about him, like most of my mums side who are strong liberals because they are rather wealthy, since im a member of Labor and because my dads side migrated here from the netherlands after ww2 they are very pro Labor and working class, so i dont really hear much from my uncle, unless its just him name dropping all of his mates hahaha
