Mal'Damba Appreciation Thread: What do you think about the character, good and bad?

I feel like Mal'Damba is a character that is more suited for premades/duo. Seems to require a decent amount of coordination to get the most out of his kit.

Very rarely will my teammates follow up on my stuns. It's also hard to heal allies that like to go off and flank. I usually end up only healing the tank.

Mal'Damba could use some projectile clarification too. It feels like you have to be very forward to be effective on him, and as a support, that just makes him feel risky to play.

Overall, he plays really clunky. It's really easy to miss your heal, and it can really be a detriment to your team if you don't heal the right targets. I guess this is a skill ceiling thing but it can be somewhat unreliable in hectic fights.

His Q seems okay? I want to mod for it because it seems like a good area of denial tool, but I also want to be healing effectively. It's hard to get my teammates to stand in it.

His escape is pretty good.

I don't like his primary fire. It is difficult to judge how to land shots. Grenade launcher-esque/Arc weapons could benefit from a different crosshair, in general.

His ult is good but I feel my teammates in pubs can't really take advantage of it.
