Male nurses, any thoughts?

IME women are either find it highly attractive or unattractive. It’s never like, a middle ground lol. I don’t think people treat understand what nursing is actually like but fortunately in America nurses can end up compensated well for their work or at least can very easily move to an area where they are. But if you’re a dude lots of people automatically just assume you’re gay, which can feel really demeaning because if you aren’t it can be hard to shrug that off in a tactful way without demeaning gay people. The bright side is pretty much every other male nurse you meet is awesome and you end up sharing a sort of special bond with them (regardless of if they’re gay or straight). Most male dominated work environments tend to be really stiff and uptight.
