Male privilege

Lies and pandering. Truth be told, merely presenting Male doesn't afford you privilege. If it did, I would not have had to deal with a great deal of crap from the "bro" culture. They force the title of Bro on me and when I reject it, lo and behold, no one lets me finish a sentence, my job prospects are shot to shit, my face to face meetings end in shambles and people try to explain things to me like I'm a 5 year old.

Gets even worse when hey realise that I am the owner of my company and I earn a bucketload more than them. So the little person with who's managed to keep their hair (and it's quite lovely by the way), who refuses to keep a beard is now perceived as a threat.

So much so that I have been attacked by both members of the cis genders.

So when I see posts like this who really believe being a Male affords you privilege, you're missing a few key points. You not only have to be and present male, but you have to be tall, strong, rugged and dominating. Otherwise you're just bait.

I am going to punch the next person who tries to explain shit to me I already know like I'm a child.
