It’s not, it can be circumstance eg. Prison rape, clergy rape, rape of other vulnerable boys by sexual predators with no other immediate alternative. Many child sexual predators attack both boys and girls without being gay. The guy clearly had a kid in his shopping trolley which was likely a kid or grandkid.

Even if it was, then he’s a rapist that happens to be gay. The salient point is that he’s a child rapist not that he’s gay.
