Man, it looks like Smite has HotS beat in the skins department...

Not sure if you are being serious or thats just a funny joke,i'll try to explain the easiest way : · dota 1 was first generation(i know there was aeon of strife in sc1 but it was never the same thing,warcraft 3 achieved that because heroes system),and the first moba was born. ·league of legends,heroes of newerth and dota 2 are second generation,where league of legends is massively played because when it was released it was free,unlike Heroes of Newerth,and its was also much slower and had all the "hard stuff removed"(yes,like it or not but the game speed is awufully slow as well as the items which are mostly terrible imo and that stupid rune system outside the game itself,not talking about denies or that kind of stuff yet);for HoN you had to buy the game and it was much faster than league of legends and retained all the core stuff from Dota 1(they even ported some heroes and that made HoN the true heir to Dota 1),i wouldnt even bother talking about Dota 2 but ill say the only thing you can find there is a slow game speed in the middle of LOL and HoN and the Nostalgia of playing all the heroes from Dota 1 , but overall its terrible for me. · And then,at last, we have Heroes of the Storm , which is third generation, its much faster than the others,got all the "not need stuff" removed,like having to farm 25 minutes to have a decent team fight and has "true physics" ( almost everything in hots is a skill shot,i remember when playing technical alpha there was only a few skills you could actually target at someone,like uthers divine shield/holy light or nova's triple tap ),also in HotS every character matters,every skill gets upgraded along the game,in lol dota or hon if you play a support you are screwed,the carry is your pimp,you are not allowed to farm but obligated to buy stuff to support non stop how is that ever going to make sense ?
