Man on a walk stops to salute.

Entrepreneurs are not regarded positively in Germany. Germans are taught from an early age that established companies will take care of them and their needs, according to the article I linked, and that’s just as strange. Cultures around the world are different but everyone compares themselves to the US while ignoring everyone else. I live in Germany. There’s a Canadian person who lives nearby. I know this because they have a large Canadian flag hoisted on a flagpole in their yard but not a single person finds that odd. I’d imagine it would be different if an American were to hoist their flag on a flagpole in their yard in Germany. Why is there a constant need and obsession to compare yourselves with Americans?
