The point that people seem to not understand is that dogs need socialization and training. That is it. German shepherd, pits, etc, they are all need that. Sure, if you don't do that with a Chihuahua, fine, the dog is going to be a nightmare but cannot hurt anyone. The same is not true with many other breeds. Pits, unfortunately, are more common, reason why we see more attacks from them. Let's look at the UK, where I am from. Attacks are still, unfortunately, a thing despite pits being banned from the country. Surprise, surprise. There are very little pits (because of the ban) but attacks still happen from other breeds. Maybe the problem is with the humans, not the dogs.
