Man whose car was damaged by the viral "Tesla stunt gone wrong" video speaks out

There are two insurance companies at play here (at least). The Subaru owner's insurance company and the insurance company representing the Tesla/ Tesla driver. The insurance company representing the Tesla may try to refuse covering the driver of the Tesla, but the insurance company representing the Subaru driver will pay out the damages to the Subaru driver and then go after whoever is determined to be the responsible party after. This is contingent on the Subaru owner having collision coverage. If the Subaru driver has collision coverage, the worst, unrealistic scenario is that their insurance would cover the damage and their rates would get jacked up. This is unrealistic since there is abundant evidence to suggest that the Subaru driver wasn't at fault.
