Same situation in my state currently. I haven't seen it mentioned yet but we are making progress with federal legalization. Congress made delta 8 thc federally legal recently, which I think is the closest step to full legalization we've seen yet. I'm not sure why more people haven't heard about it by now but it's a natural cannabinoid, like delta 9 thc, but it's not as psychoactive. The high isn't as strong and it feels more like a body high than a head high, but it's been getting me through here. It's probably half the potency of delta 9 thc but I'm not as paranoid with it since I know it's legal and that's worth it to me imo. Not sure which states banned it but the place I order from has a list of legal states online. If you don't have legal weed in your state I would recommend checking out delta 8 until full legalization rolls around. And at this point I don't think it's very far away.
