‘The Mandalorian’ gives female directors a chance to shine

How so? It seemed to be an implication of what you were suggesting. You believe it's okay if some studios hired only women for projects such as with Jessica Jones. I was providing the mirror situation and how that can be seen as not cool. Excluding one gender from jobs has been seen as a bad thing for a while now. It just doesn't seem like excluding the other gender is the ideal way to accomplish gender equality in the industry in the long term. I think it helps boost the numbers in the short term, but we should really look at providing equal opportunity as the way to make sure everyone has the chance to apply for for whatever projects or jobs they want (instead of just gender exclusive ones).
