Kaneki's breakdown SHOULD be in the next episode. Him just going fucking insane. I really hope his VA can just nail the vibe of "Kaneki just fucking lost it...". Side note, I also hope when we see his Kakuja next episode it looks closer to the manga version. The anime version looks a bit different.

The problem shouldnt be if Kaneki's voice actor can deliver, its if the studio can. This newest ep was a disappointment, so i'm fearful of how certain things will be handled.

I thought they might be saving their budget for the upcoming fights. This episode was more of a set-up episode, no major battles (even the Kaneki vs Shachi fight was a setup for Kakuja); so even though the animation was a disappointment, I'm fairly confident that the Juuzou vs Twins and the Gantaipede vs Shachi/Shinohara(maybe) fights will be well animated.

Ya, I was thinking that might be the case. I hope so, the Kaneki vs Jason fight in season 1 was fantastic. I want more of that.

Yeah Kanekis VA was amazing during the torture scenes. I have no doubt he could nail the kanekipede scenes.

As Shinohara and Amon are at the facilities as well, confrontation is inevitable. But now that Kaneki is in Aogiri, I'm not sure how the 3-way battle between Kaneki's group, Aogiri, and CCG will play out here, but I'm still hyped as fuck for gantaipede.

Really hope Tsukiyama and co. show up. They are the only ones missing. Would LOVE to see the Kanou confrontation as well. I really feel like the anime needs it since he's literally only in like the first episode. Possibly another. I don't recall. And Rize reveal. Anime watchers minds gonna be blown.

I have a feeling that Tsukiyama and Banjo's team are among the Aogiri foot soldiers, as we see them disguised earlier, and presumably extorting information out of an actual Aogiri soldier. So they probably learned of Aogiri's plans and infiltrated.

Kanekis voice actor is very impressive, his performance during the torture scene was incredible. I'm sure he could handle this just fine. Truthfully I'm more concerned with the effort the animation team is going to put into it.
