Manual Renewal of passport in the US

Omg what a rollercoaster. I definitely understand the struggle. I also came alone here when I was 18, am 19 now, and has literally been a full grown ass adult since I was 18. I’d assume the same with you. People don’t realize how hard it is to shift environments. I do. When I came here, it was my first time in the US. I have never traveled to the US before and has done it like twice to other countries before. And I bought that damn ticket and came alone and oriented myself by talking to strangers on the airport. Also yeah college in the US is definitely stressful. I’m premed and you’re in engineering( we’re Lebanese, are there other option for us? Hahahahaha... yes get disowned lol). And it’s definitely not your fault. I renewed my US passport in Lebanon in 3 days and they literally had to ship it from America. The Lebanese embassy are just incompetent and rude people. Like I’d rather interact with Americans most of the time cause American employees tend to be respectful. My mom went to the bank: and the guy was like “get the fuck out slut. We don’t care if your daughter needs money in America”. Bruh Lebanese people have no concept of respect sometimes. We are a hit or miss: either the nicest humans or the worst. Oh yeah forgot to mention my American passport was near expiration when I renewed it. At this point, I’d probably ask if it’s a possibility to renew it in Lebanon. I’ve interacted with the consulate in Michigan because I’m in the Midwest and they were nice to me. I see that you’re not in the Midwest, however maybe they’ll talk to someone who may help you. Either way, don’t lose your visa no matter what even if you have to go to Lebanon again. Graduating from an American university is the only thing that’ll get you a respectable job in the future(my parents had to work minimum wage because that’s how badly non American degrees are viewed). Good luck! And yeah linear algebra sucks! But I’m taking ochem if it makes you feel better and I’m on the verge of crying everyday HAHAHAHAHA
