It's worth a close look at how US mass media treats those largely subservient to the existing power structure versus those directly opposed to it.
Mistakes made by Biden are overtly downplayed and dismissed, or for example, they deflect by mentioning mistakes made by Trump. Do/would they extend the same courtesy to Sanders or Gabbard? Do they provide that same benefit of the doubt? Let me know if you can find an instance any major media conglomerate showing equal treatment. That might well be impossible.
