Many Canadians angry after election produces a $610M bill and not much change

Ah yes the typical Toronto attitude, no jobs exist anywhere else.

You made the choice to enter a career that apparently only exists in a single city in Canada, has a high barrier of entry and doesn't allow you to live comfortable. You chose not to change because you already spent time, you are basically a victim of the sunk cost fallacy.

On the flip side I know a couple that probably didn't even make 60k combined in 2016 and they bought a townhouse and lived comfortably, they still are...

but don’t preach and make people feel like they made a mistake because they didn’t move to fucking Ottawa to buy a house in their 20’s.

I mean if you wanted a house, and it seems like you do... then yeah, you made every bad choice to get one. The good news is that with your highly specialized career in Toronto you are probably pulling in 200k+ so you will qualify for a million dollar home with 20% down so just live like you make 100k and you will have that in about 4 years.
