Why do so many haters especially ex-Mormons bash Mormonism for polytheism but IGNORE the Cathodox Saints?

(FACEPALM) these questions is why I not only left Catholciism but at the present I'm not aligned to any faction while practising occult (although I was joining the Reformed tradition last year but did not follow through though I still hold Calvinistic beliefs).

For now I'll just stop here because you made me ponder a lot :). I do have a question why do so many Protestant traditions oppose asking a friend to pray for you? While my initial post is questioning about Saints as polytheism and I'm no longer Catholic, I have a Joan of Arc statue. I may not say those fancy intercessory prayers in Catholic books asking for her to pray for god, but I definitely treat Joan of Arc as a friend and do request she (saying in front of her statue) pray for me and ask god for well being.

The reason though I asked this post about Mormonism is the arguments from other Protestants made me think especially towards Catholicism.

As I said I'll ponder on this topic (might take days or weeks to respond to your specific post or even make any new comments to this specific topic) but I am definitley open to your beliefs and am already meditating on your posts :).

A bonus question, when I was seriously going to Reformed Tradition, it was common in the local churches and sites I visited to bash Catholics as polytheist. I'm really surprised you're not aggressive in the denouncements the way other reformed Christians are. What made you go unorthodox in regards to this topic?

(As I said I'm open to views and while I had taken the Sainthood as polytheistic for over a year, I still somewhat want to continue the Catholic practise of revering Saints and the Theotokos as I love Joan of Arc and Mother Mary).
