Many LGBT subs are toxic

May I ask, what exactly did you find toxic about the sub? I’ve only been subbed there for a few months. People seem very accepting there to me and open to discussion, granted I don’t purposely browse that sub very often and it doesn’t even show up in my newsfeed most days now since I started subbing other subs. Early after subbing though, I saw a lot of posts by bi men and I realized quickly that I had a bias against them. This was surprising to me because I am a bi woman and I’ve never felt bias against gay men. I just hadn’t ever been knowingly exposed to bi men before (I haven’t experienced any LGBT culture outside of he internet, and even that is recent). So, for a while I did go on the sub specifically looking for posts by bi men, because I didn’t want to be biased. And it worked, it makes me happy to see men openly discussing being bi now, at least on the internet. It’s still not something I’ve heard a man say “in real life.” Umm so this go long and I rambled...
