I don’t understand it- I also agree with what you’ve said. I don’t like her and don’t like that she’s being put on a pedestal- I think you don’t have to choose between disliking Rinna, Kathy, Erika or even Kyle tbh. You can agree they’re all awful and using whatever position they are in to thier advantage. Now Kathy’s seen the feedback online about FFF and that she was bullied in Aspen and that Kyles got an alien e against her with Rinna- Kathy is using that to her advantage- especially after the reunion clip. Her interaction on social media has gone up and her view of Kyle and what happens seems to have altered. I also think because Kathy has had such good edits. It doesn’t help. Like in the preview we saw for ages and the show we saw Kathy go to the door and them all say no don’t let her in- we’ll apparently it was Crystal who went to go in first- but for ages in the adverts it was made to look like Kathy was being refused entry alone. If there is footage of this breakdown we’ve seen a tiny part of it and now the main part of the reunion we’re seeing is Kathy giving it to Rinna (I mean good for her- it’s true)- but I feel we are constantly being presented Kathy in a likeable way- victim, hero, goofy. Again, I think people think of Kathy as maybe a bit older, a bit more slow/ mumsy so think- the nice rich older white lady wouldn’t be mean. Again because of her wealth people also don’t think of her as desperate/ thirsty. I think she’s got plenty to be envious of Kyle about, as Kyle probably also does with Kathy- it’s the nature of these sisters. But I think because of Kathy’s name people put her on a pedestal- just like Erika married Tom- all Kathy did was marry a Hilton- and she allegedly didn’t even really raise the kids- so I just don’t see where all the Queen Kathy stuff comes from.

A big thing with Kathy is her greed. Not speaking to them for years after Maurice left the agency- because her husband wouldn’t promote him- they had a big family and no money independently behind them- they took a risk with the agency, it didn’t hurt the Hilton’s I’m sure- they should’ve been supportive- not ignored Kyles family/ shunned half of them from the wedding. Then the tequila thing- grow up- deal with it at home- don’t throw a fit in public- makes me think Kathy does that often when she doesn’t get her way.

I dislike Rinna a lot more, so don’t get me wrong- but in context of this question- I’ve just written why I don’t understand it.
