Why do so many people on Reddit hate Jordan Peterson?

Yeah good post. I think it's mostly a bad faith thing. He honestly just creeps some people out and they look for reasons to justify that.

The enforced monogamy thing is a classic example, most people don't really know the academic definition of enforced so when they hear enforced monogamy it's gonna raise some eyebrows. If you're looking for something to dislike Peterson about you can super easily interpret that as endorsing a fucking Handmaid's Tale style society!

But if you think hey, there's a good chance he didn't mean that, because he's likely not a monster, you'll think maybe he means something else and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, you are not a prone to taking people in bad faith!
