Many people who identify as feminists say they support feminism because they believe in equal rights for women. If feminism is about equal rights, then what’s the distinction between feminism and egalitarianism if it supports the same idea?

It’s ableist to assume others can understand existing information to the degree you can because others may not have the same functional capabilities you do. Any answer provided in this sub is technically spoon fed. By your logic it should be easier to answer a commonly asked question than it is to answer an original one. In either case I hope users can remember the humanity of everyone who asks a question, especially when they self identify as a woman and a feminist in a community like this. No one deserves to be dragged for asking a question no matter how repetitive it is or not when they’re attempting to better their understanding of a subject.
