Yea, the way I see the problem with CP (and in a broader sense, pedophilia) isn't the attraction, it's that acting on it inevitably produces a victim.

For those pedophiles who never act on their urges, I actually have great sympathy. They didn't choose that, and so long as they don't harm anyone I have no problem with them as people.

Lolicon seems like a reasonably good substitute. I probably wouldn't call it a healthy outlet. After all, it might be the case that it's treatable and lolicon is just enabling those thoughts to cement themselves. I'm not a mental health professional, though. I'd like to hear what someone with a background in psychology thinks.
