Many Saints of Newark might taint the show

Chase had no problem bulldozing over an entire culture’s worth of preconceived notions re contemporary familial ideals, American mafia obsession, tired A-B-C television narratives (heavily overthrown by ‘College’), etc. It truly was a very worthy and timely successor to Matt Groening’s ‘The Simpsons.’

I have no reason to think Chase would lose his grip at this point. And not for nothing I wouldn't care. John Carpenter’s ‘Halloween’ is a literal horror masterpiece. The fact that it’s later ideations were out and out disasters save for some bright spots doesn’t take away from ‘78’s achievement. Take these additions with a grain of salt, OP.
