This was without a doubt the worst anime I've ever seen and I can't wait for season two.

It was unrepentant garbage from start to finish and yet somehow I still kind of liked it. It was honest and unashamed of what it set out to be and it achieved all of its goals.

I don't really like isekai. I don't really like harem series. But I can't fault a series for embracing what it is and delivering on that. The genre is fundamentally about wish fulfillment and most isekai fail because they're embarrassed about what they are and try to be something else.

If you're going to be trash, you might as well go all the way. It's pure garbage, but it's pure and I can kind of respect that.
