The Maple Leafs declined to comment on Joffrey Lupul's Instagram posts tonight. Which have been deleted.

Yeah, many Leaf fans say that Lupul accumulated so many injuries that he was going to retire but if you read articles on him leading into the 16-17 season before he failed his physical, the word was that he was working hard on recovering and coming back.

Then Toronto fans went into reckless speculation that Lupul's off ice activities (cocaine and painkiller addiction are the things I've heard - none of which are substantiated by the way) led to the Leafs keeping him away from the team.

Robidas became an unfortunate face of the "LOL, Lou is fooling everyone" circlejerk despite the fact that he was legitimately injured (in a recent interview he says that he can't walk up and down the stairs properly due to his leg injuries).

Now Leaf fans are all acting incredulous at how anyone could think that the FO would be doing this shady shit with Lupul.

Like, motherfucker the fanbase have been joking about Robidas Island for well over a year now and now y'all shocked that everyone thinks there is merit to this thing?
