I just got my "Christmas" haul a couple days ago. Saved my money gifts so I could get the Barney's Love Yourself goodies. Some of these are Barney's, some from Sephora. I also might update later bc I got a lot of samples that I haven't touched yet.

Bought CDG Grace, Diptyque L'Ombre Dans L'Eau, Guerlain Shalimar, and Dior Fahrenheit.

CDG Grace: I haven't worn this yet. I bought it because A) I love rose scents, B) it's kitty shaped with a kitty bag! Very very pleased with B, also pleased with A so far. It's a very distinct rose, I detect more bergamot than musk on paper, but I don't know how it dries down yet.

Diptyque L'Ombre Dans L'Eau: I was worried about this one at first. It starts out VERY green, almost overpowering, but it quickly dries down into a beautiful rosy green. Like an actual rose garden after a heavy rain. This might become one of my favorites, if not my signature.

Guerlain Shalimar: Wonderful, wonderful, of course. I bought the parfum, the tiniest dab on each wrist, rubbed into the neck and temples, lasted more than 8 hours. All vanilla and leather to me. Weirdly reminds me of a cool greaser girl from the 50s, cherry red lipstick, smoking a cigarette haha. Totally not the picture the bottle, or history, implies.

Dior Fahrenheit: I knew a guy who wore this, loved it so much I needed a bottle for myself. I remembered it smelling like cool, sweet gasoline. On me, I could only smell nutmeg and leather, which was awesome. My husband loved it on me. I was considering giving it to him, but he still hasn't finished his tiny bottle of ADG I bought him 5 years ago...better spent on me imo.
