Overall, I have to say that I’m quite pleased with this month’s box, and the variety of products I received. While three of the six are related to haircare, this is one of the options that I specifically chose in my own profile. I’m always thrilled to receive samples of different haircare products, because I find that incorporating a little bit of change into that routine isn’t as scary to me as a sudden change in my skincare or my makeup, haha. The foil packet doesn’t bother me at all, as I’ve got my profile set to state that I’m willing to receive them, and it’s just an additional product I can rate and receive points for, even if it is a single-use kind of thing. (I still find foil packets vastly better than some of the odd lifestyle extras I’ve gotten in months past.)

Perfume isn’t my favorite, but Harvey Prince hits it out of the park nearly every time. (And yes, the reason I can say this is because it’s the fourth Harvey Prince product I’ve received from Birchbox in the last nine months. Kind of harsh for someone who rated perfume as a dislike, but one sample did encourage me to cash in my points on a full-sized bottle of the scent, so I guess they know me well enough.) I’m thrilled with the Mirenesse Glossy Kiss sample. It’s a fantastic color and a generous amount, and lip products are my absolute favorites. I’d receive a lip product every month if I could. And since I’ve heard so much about Cover FX products, I’m eager to give them a try. A BB cream and blemish treatment in one? Very cool.
