Do Kroenkes really want to invest beyond making top 4 safe? We have spent 150m to get to this point. We will need another 150 to complete a first 11 confidante in top 4. How much more to get a squad capable of winning the league??? Will Kroenke pour money chasing titles when the main cash prize of CL is secure???? And if not, will Arteta be happy fighting for titles with arm tired behind his back?????

Arteta is riding the crest of a wave of joy right now, like bukayo on inflatable unicorn. All inflatable unicorns will eventually deflate, Arteta's unicorn is no different. He may make the discernment that Arsenal's crest will likely be no higher than Top 4 without passionate investment by the Kroenkes which will not be forthcoming. He may decide to take his unicorn elsewhere.

I too believe Arteta will want to stay and see through this project to the end. He is a steely man of endeavour and ruthless ambition. But that ruthless ambition cuts both ways and maybe if Kroenkes does not provide him with the tools for the job, he will leave at an opportune time.

In conclusion, Arteta seems likely to stay at Arsenal for the foreseeable future, but no one can foresee the future except fools and prognosticators. We shall see.
