Marijuana edibles are straight up psychedelic...

OP you are going to get torn to shreds, but I support you. But first, we have to run through the obligatory:

ahem

SUMN SUMN BOUT 5HT2A RECEPTORS BLAH BLAH KLASSIKAL CYKEDELIX BRAP BRAP BRAP WEED IS 4 NORMIES LMAO TEK SUM SHROOMS U PUSSY

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I'll detail what I've experienced with edibles:

1. Altered time perception - this is very hard to describe, but on edibles, everything feels much more immediate. Time and all actions accomplished in it seem normal, for about a 5 second window after the action is done -- after that, it "feels" like you haven't done it, or it feels like it was a long time ago. The best way this is noticed, is by simply talking. Say something, wait a few seconds, and then think back and you'll go "wait, did I really just say that?". Fuck, I'm not doing a good job of explaining this. Oh well. I guess it's kind of like everything is happening and passing very quickly.

2. Closed-eye visuals - of course they happen. I get them just by vaping weed, so edibles are a definite yes.

3. Open-eye visuals - rarer, but it's happened to me before. It was in a slightly dim room (but not "dark" by any means) and a selfie I took on my phone started morphing into kind of a scary-looking face when I defocused my vision and kind of zoned out.

4. Dissociation - I close my eyes. After a few seconds of sitting still, I lose feeling of my body, similar to a DMT breakthrough where you feel like your body is quickly evaporating away. Along with that, a sense of gravity disappears and I literally feel like a head or pair of eyes just tumbling and rolling around through empty space. Pretty fucking scary, so I got up and went to bed.

5. Music - extremely immersive, pretty much the same kind of effects as smoked/vaped weed, but the sheer magnitude is what sets it apart.
