Marilyn Manson to #MeToo movement: ‘Say it to police, not to the press’

I'm not talking about false rape accusations. I'm talking about harassment and groping and cat calling and workplace harassment and other acts that aren't explicitly illegal but women have to put up with that are talked about as part of metoo.

You have a MASSIVE chip on your shoulder about women as a whole. The metoo movement is about pointing out cultural norms that affect women and are largely held as normal even though they are fucked up. You either think all of the women involved are lying, which disgusts me in ways I can't properly verbalize, or just don't believe it matters, which just goes back to the lack of empathy point I made earlier.

Women saying that they are sick of harassment and saying that they experience it more often than people think isn't a list of names of innocent men that are immediately going to be locked up or ostracized. You act like the fact that false accusations happen sometimes mean they happen every time, and the fact of the matter is you STILL jump to conclusions instead of being rational and skeptical, but instead of taking women at their word when they say it as nearly an entire demographic you desperately try to deflect by saying they may be lying

Frankly, fuck you.
