Joe Rogan just kind of lets people talk so I can form my own opinions. I don't really respect him or care about his opinions, but I appreciate that his show is a space for people including potentially controversial, divisive, or even hateful people to state whatever case they claim to have because I value the opportunity to hear diverse ideas and form my own independent judgments of the truth more than pretty much anything else. The idea of even considering whether someone should be deplatformed or whatever is repugnant to me. If people do stupid things or make wrong judgments after hearing a wrong idea, then their judgment is the problem to be solved, not the fact that they heard something wrong.
