Joint account is meant for bills and his spending (he has personal expenses like $10-$20/day at the gas station NOT on gas), I have a person account for any of my personal spending like nails (but that’s few and far between, honestly), and then we have a savings account in my name because he is awful with money. Car lease is in my name only. I handle making all payments on our credit cards (10). He’s an authorized user on 2/7 of my credit cards.

Like I said above, he is awful with money. All three of his credit cards are kept at 80-90% utilization because he just runs them up whenever I pay them down. We haven’t found a perfect system yet, honestly. I desperately hold onto money while he aggressively spends money. Gotta work on that
