This is Village President Martinson. While I understand your frustrations and concerns, I think that it is a little out of line to call my son, Ethan "the BAD one." Ethan Martinson, son of Larry and Martha (me) is a mostly straight A student. He also has a big heart and gives back to the community--he volunteers as a euthanizer at our local kill shelter.

Larry and I didn't name Ethan after the other Ethan. In fact, while our Ethan is a tad younger than the other Ethan, our Ethan was named after Ethan in the Bible. To my understanding, the other Ethan Martinson was named after the actor Ethan Hawk.

Also, Larry is not a bad man. He's actually a very good man and cares deeply about our community. May I remind you that the allegations against him involving embezzling money for the families impacted by the Footville fire of 2007 were unfounded.

And yes, Stacey has had her problems as we are all very aware, but she isn't all bad either.

I ask that if you have a problem with the Larry and Martha Martinson family, you solve it in other ways (although maybe not at the ballot box) or keep it to yourself.
