I know this is a Marvel subreddit but this is worthy of discussion and semi-related.

Studio Executives..... that's why.

The reason of why BVS, Suicide Squad and Justice League didn't work out because the studio keep inference the films and just came out as not good films.

I feel they rushed the whole build-up of Justice League and they didn't bother to give Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg their own films before Justice League.

David Ayer didn't like the finished product and he says Studio was messed up with the film.

Joss Whedon and the studio reportedly HATED Steppenwolf and Whedon call him "the worst comic book movie villain" and Warner Bros are saids to be very disappointed with Snyder picking Steppenwolf as main villain than iconic DC villains.

Hopefully Warner Bros finally get it with DCEU since Aquaman made more money than Justice League which was the lowest-grossing DCEU films.

Patty Jenkins even begged WB of not making Justice League 2 as she feel they should do more standalone movies before get to Justice League 2.
