[Mase] Maybe you’ve made bad choices in your life. But at least you didn’t get a tattoo of Tim Tebow as a centaur wearing a Broncos helmet.

1) He was labeled by many as the greatest college player of all-time. College football has had a lot of great players that didn't make it in the NFL, so to have one of their all-time greats trying to make it was an intriguing story line.

2) His style of football was the problem. In college, programs do anything they can to win, which includes all types of styles which won't translate into the NFL. They are too fast and strong in the NFL for many of the schemes. A good QB is hard to find and valuable in the NFL, you want them to drop back and get rid of the ball quickly. Thats how Peyton Manning and Tom Brady play and they stay healthy their whole career. Tebow was a running back who could throw the deep ball. In college, teams schemed to punish and hit the crap out of him. By the 4th quarter, Tebow was usually running the defense over. His style of football of not backing down was very popular as well.

3) He is genuinely a great person. Humble, doesn't trash talk. Every analyst went nuts saying he was trash, and there he was sending the Steelers home in the playoffs. Denver didn't have a good team for a while, so it was really nice to witness.
