[Mase] Noah Fant began the season on a pace for more receptions and yards by a Broncos TE in a single season since Shannon Sharpe in 1997. An ankle injury changed that. But Fant’s ability to play through it showed his toughness. Big things could be next.

What if we need to give away the talent to get Watson? He's not gonna come to a team that just dismantled their defense to get him. It's one of those things where we can spare a couple guys but not all our rookies. Like giving Chubb away, it's just not a good idea. The only thing we could afford is a very poor FA since we wouldn't have the money to pay a vet. Our rookies are good because they're cheap right now which is what is required to pay Watson. We can't draft replacements because we have no picks lol. The Prescott deal and even Dalton make a lot of sense. Dalton would be great to get somebody at that position for a year till our money frees up. Prescott is better long term though and it's as simple as moving money around.

My starting Lock comment was if we don't end up getting a new QB. We give him a couple games and if he's not winning he's benched and Rypien takes over. Driskel will be gone so that's irrelevant.
