There are no laws about staying up to date on vaccines that wane over time and booster uptake among the adult population is extremely low. Only 1 in 4 American adults have had a DTaP booster since middle school. Pregnant women are often routinely screened for presence of antibodies against things we were vaccinated against as kids. I personally opted to be revaccinated after delivery for measles, mumps, and rubella because I had no protection at age 30 despite completing the series at age 4. I wasn’t required to though.
