I don't think Andromeda is on the same level as the first trilogy from a plot perspective, but the gameplay mechanics are the best the series ever had and I really was interested in getting answers to the unresolved plot threads the game sets up. They very clearly intended to make a sequel while they were producing the game.

However, I think it suffered greatly from trying to release too early instead of giving the game more time to polish. Now that the glitchy animation's been patched it looks fine, but that should have been fixed before launch. Stuff like every single Asari in the game besides Peebee having the exact same face just feels lazy, too.

...But I want them to make Andromeda 2 and I'd definitely buy it.
