Massive porter cable clearance at local Lowe’s

Good brands for power tools are some of the ones you listed. Makita, Bosch, Milwaukee, and Dewalt are all VERY competitive with each other. You cannot go wrong with any of these brands. This subreddit loves Milwaukee. Others praise Makita and Bosch for their quality and better manufacturing tolerances. People in my industry use Bosch. Each brand has tools they make better than others. Dewalt makes a good oscillating tool; Makita makes great circular saws; Milwaukee has powerful impact drivers, etc.

Side note: Because of the acquisition of craftsman by SB&D, there are essentially two craftsman brands now. The craftsman outside of Sears is through SB&D whereas inside Sears is through Sears. Both currently have the right to source manufacturers as they see fit.

If you’re going for socket sets, unless you’re opening an auto shop any brand will serve you well. I’ve done many major auto repairs on different vehicles using Sears craftsman tools. .
