It’s not like Melbourne police have covered their body can with “eat a dick hippy” stickers.

It’s not like the cops entered a gay bookshop, with shotguns but no uniforms and destroyed a mans shoulder when he though the unannounced armed men in his gay book shop were there to bash or murder him and tried to run away.

It’s not like Melbourne cops shot a bloke for having an obvious toy gun, while balls deep in his missus at a party.

It’s not like Victoria cops broke a guys neck leaving him quadriplegic for life because his music was a bit loud in Warrnambool.

It’s not like Aboriginals are the most incarcerated people on the planet per capita.

It’s not like deaths in custody are at their highest in years, but only for aboriginals.

It’s not like Aboriginal kids ever get told the officer was just having a bad day, forget about it, when they get their feet kicked out and thrown face first into the floor.

It’s not like it took the noise of a black lives matter protest going global to get as much as a “the officer was having a bad day. If you didn’t want to be brutalised, you shouldn’t have talked back” acknowledgement.
