At Massive's Request: THE Endgame Thread

I really like The Division, that said i was pretty underwhelmed by the incursion update. I know its a free update but yeah i thought it was still not a fun "end game" content. Free content, yes.. End game.. not really.. So i would like to share some ideas for Massive/The Division; 1) More variety of gear/weapons We have Spec Ops, Rush, Gunslinger.. I reckon we could use a bit more variation in the gear items. We have named weapons, why not named Gear. You can have gear/weapons associate to the named enemies in the DZ (Gambit's Vector 45, Animal's Knee pads and possibly have locked talents on those, which would give more variation to the Vector or any other weapon/gear) Don't announce new gear/weapons/sets (players such as me will be more surprised with our drops creating excitement, eg. mechanix drop.. yea that was a terrible drop but it did catch my attention) Just let us be surprised with the loot that drops. 2) Weapon Sets/ Mod sets Specific named weapons eg. Valkyria and Historian when equipped as primary and secondary will give bonus damage. Sorta like duel wielding. Some weapons compliment skills; (Named) handgun - If used with Balistic shield give extra 10% dmg Massive can include sets for Weapon mods eg. Massive scope (20% accuracy, 37% crit dmg) + Massive Muzzler (10%accuracy + 10% crit chance) With both weapon mod = 10% increase Headshot dmg. 3) Aura/Glow when wearing complete set As realistic this game wants to get, we cant escape the fact that its not 100% realistic (bullet sponginess), so why don't we have something to show off our hard work of grinding. For example, if player is wearing sentinel set (4), player will have green aura. 4) Ability to upgrade gear The empty spot next to calibration, make that an upgrade station. Upgrade gear such as Sentry Mask to +1, giving increase in armor/attributes, using number of materials with chance of success and failure during upgrade process. 5) Raid Mission What i hope for the expansion; New mission(s) or Raid(s) It doesnt have to be 8 man (Would be sweeter if we had 8 man raid though) 3 part mission with 3 bosses with maybe 1 hidden boss (skippable boss depending on which path taken) Paths can split teams say teams of 4; split into 2:2, 2 into upper vantage area that can give sniper cover to the other 2 getting rushed/ambushed by enemies. Each boss can provide each player loot and One special loot that players has to roll for (can be shared) Bosses changes tactics mid way of fight keeping the fight interesting (not just sending in more troops) These are just some ideas i would like to share, i am sure some of you have others you would share. Or Maybe dont agree with mine. Either way, i really hope we can help Massive shape The Division to a game we will be playing for a long time.
